Welcome to Fall/Winter 2026 - 27

Beginning September 2026, we will be open 4 days a week: Thurs thru Sun with table service, rotating Themed menus, cooking classes, and some other special events just for fun. Please make sure to check our calendar for any schedule updates and interruptions. If you need to pick up something for the pets or people who love them during non-business hours, please text 208-610-4932 and we can schedule a private shopping time. We will take our normal month to close and rearrange/clean/prep for the winter months. As we move through this season, we hope everyone enjoys the lovely experience Joseph and Wallowa Lake have to offer - relax, slow down, breathe deeply and appreciate landscape of NE Oregon.

In our small cafe space, we have limited tables with a first come first serve seating style. No reservations. Outdoor seating will be available as weather permits through October, then the tables hibernate for the winter months. Pets can help you shop, but cannot stay for meals indoors. NEW this year - we have real heat in the building now. So, in theory, temperatures should be comfortable inside - no need for the parkas while dining!! We are an intimate location, which means we do not have the means to accommodate groups over 5 - and sometimes that can be challenging. We encourage people to enjoy the slow pace of our area and consider dining during non-traditional meal times as we serve the same menu from open to close each day.

Our menu changes weekly beginning on Thursdays; and will be posted on this site and on facebook as it is available. We note special event dates that affect business operations. We make most everything from scratch - this is not fast food, even the veggies for the salads are cut to order to keep them fresh! If you have food challenges, please let us know. We can accommodate many situations as most of our items are made to order.

Take Out is always an option!! Great meals to enjoy by/on the lake. Let us cook your campsite meal for you or grab something for that hike.

We offer a beer, wine and cider selection especially curated to showcase the offerings of the Pacific & Inland Northwest with many selections of wine not available in other local locations. Beer, wine and cider are also available TO GO, can/bottles or bring your own growler for filling.
